Briefing

Every industrial control panel starts with power. Your 24 VDC SMPS (Switch-Mode Power Supply) has three output terminals: - **+V** — the positive 24 V bus - **-V / 0 V** — the DC common (0 V reference) - **PE** — protective-earth chassis bond Wire each terminal to its matching bus-bar. Until power is correctly distributed, nothing else in the panel will work.

Objectives

  • Wire +V terminal to the +24 V bus bar
  • Wire 0 V terminal to the 0 V bus bar
  • Bond the PE stud to the ground bus bar

Hints

  • Check the polarity markings on the PSU face-plate before you wire.
  • The PE (ground) bond is a safety requirement, not optional — always green/yellow wire.
