PLC training software for schools

Run a PLC lab without trainer kits: every student programs simulated machines in a web browser, and you see how each one is getting on. Create a free class to start. The trainer-kit alternative page explains how it compares with hardware, and the PLC curriculum for educators page shows what the lessons cover.

A free class gets you

  • Create a class in a couple of minutes. No payment details needed.
  • Up to 200 students per class, joined with a class code or link you share.
  • The free lessons for every student: browser-based ladder logic with automatic checking.
  • A progress view for you: who has joined, who has been active and what each student has completed.

The Class plan adds

  • The full course for every student in the class: all lessons, labs and certificates.
  • Access lasts while the student is a member of your class. If they leave, they go back to their own plan.
  • You choose how many students to cover; students you add later need extra seats.

Price

$49 per student per year

Minimum 10 students ($490 a year). For schools, colleges and other educational institutions, set up by a teacher. If your email address is not a school address, we confirm the school before sending a checkout link. Classes larger than 200 students are quoted.

FAQ

Questions from teachers.

Yes. Students write and test ladder logic in a browser on their own laptop or a Chromebook, against simulated machines, so there is no trainer hardware to buy, share or maintain. Hardware trainers are still useful for wiring practice. See the trainer-kit alternative page for how teachers combine the two.
